PASADENA – A man, who apparently left a paltry tip at a local bar, got into a heated exchange with a bartender, walked out of the establishment and was stabbed early Tuesday, officials said. The victim, identified only as a resident of Downey, was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital, in stable condition, Pasadena police Lt. Keith Jones said. “Apparently our victim ran up a tab and when he left what the bartender thought was a menial tip, a few words were spoken,” Jones said. “Somebody who was in the bar followed him out and stabbed him one time.” The single stab wound was not “life threatening,” Jones said. last_img read more
